About Me

My name is Clare Law. I am a 50 years old, and the mother of two adults! but that does not mean I dont remember and understand the stresses and strains of needing to be everywhere and doing everything at the same time and rarely having time to think about keeping in shape.

I trained as a Registered General Nurse in 1987. After many happy years of nursing I decided to train as an aerobics instructor, running classes for the general public. My enjoyment of aerobics and general fitness then lead me to train and qualify as a Personal fitness trainer and Pilates instructor. I have found my nurse training has given me invaluable tools to work with as a Personal Trainer. A large percentage of clients who contact me have medical conditions, whether big or small they have often forced them to shy away from exercise, frequently resulting in weight gain. In many instances I found clients are fearful of doing something wrong or they simply need guidance on a suitable exercise regime. This is where my nursing knowledge allows me to provide a specific, safe workout so that clients feel confident & reassured. In my spare time I am a volunteer Community First responder with South Central Ambulance Service.

My Approach

Whether you want to tone up, lose weight, reduce your body fat levels, get back into shape after having a baby, regain your fitness after recovering from an injury, operation or illness, train for a specific event, or a combination of these - it is all possible. Every client is different starting from their own initial fitness level and having their own specific goals, which is why I offer a unique personal training solution to each client. Your training programme will depend on what you want to achieve. It is designed and tailored specifically to your needs. I receive great job satisfaction from helping others and feel confident that I can help you achieve YOUR goals.
